Loose Gemstones
Kanastaal carries over 40 different types of loose gemstones in its inventory; all different shapes, sizes, and color. The inventory contains both faceted and cabochon cut. Most of the gemstones are of standard cut for the particular stone and shape, but there are some gemstones that have been custom designed and cut by gemstone artists. Silver Jewelry
The Silver Jewelry is a jewelry line manufactured in India. It is made with rhodium plated sterling silver and natural colored gemstones. The rhodium plating prevents the silver from tarnishing and oxidising. The colored gemstones are both precious and semiprecious. Most of the gemstones set in the jewelry are amethyst, blue topaz, citrine, garnets, and peridot. Some of the other gemstones used includes carnelian, moonstone, lapis, tourmaline, emerald, ruby, sapphire, pearl, smokey quartz, rose quartz, tiger’s eye, morganite, and much more. The jewelry consist of bracelets, earrings, necklaces, necklace-earring sets, pendants, and rings. Jewelry style ranges from very simple single stone settings to multiple gemstone and gemstone types in one piece. Many of the jewelry pieces are unique and one of a kind. Because this line of jewelry is made with silver vise gold, it makes it a lot more affordable to the consumer. The following pictures are samples of the jewelry. Custom Jewelry
The custom jewelry in inventory has been designed and created by top goldsmiths and gemstone cutters to give it a unique and one of a kind look.
Natural 5.90 carat ruby and diamond ring set in yellow gold.
Pink spinel necklace, earring, ring set. 16.79 spinels from Kuh-I-Lal, Tajikistan, 1.92 carats of diamonds, and set in 18 karat white gold. Hand crafted by award winning, master designer, Gregory Crawford.
29 carat rare blue, indicolite, tourmaline pendant set in 18 karat gold with spinels, tsavorites and tanzanites. It is clipped onto a hand made 18 karat gold chain. The tourmaline was purchased in the rough by Gary W. Bowersox, "The Gem Hunter" in Nuristan, Afghanistan. Bowersox commissioned Michael Dyber, multi-award winning gem cutter, to fashion the gemstones. This fabulous piece has been shown on abc's Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer. 
124 carat Afghanistan kunzite is set in 18 karat gold with lapis-lazuli and diamonds. The kunzite was purchased in the rough by Gary W. Bowersox, "The Gem Hunter" in Nuristan, Afghanistan and then designed and built into the pendant by award winning designer Greg Crawford.
